Evianne grew up in Curaçao, Kingdom of the Netherlands. She obtained a bachelor's degree with honours (cum laude) in Psychology and Law from University College Roosevelt in Middelburg, the Netherlands. In 2010 Evianne graduated with an MPhil in Social and Developmental Psychology from the University of Cambridge and in 2015 she obtained a PhD in the Department of Psychology under Professor Michael Lamb.
